Nigeria Police Training Date 2025/2026 Requirements and Venues – The Nigeria Police Force has announced the official training dates for candidates who successfully completed the medical screening for the 2025/2026 recruitment exercise.
Nigeria Police Training Date and Documentation
According to the Police Service Commission (PSC), training for shortlisted constables will begin on April 12, 2025, while the documentation process will run from April 12–19, 2025.
The Head of Press and Public Relations at the PSC, Ikechukwu Ani, urged all applicants to check their recruitment status and print their training call-up slip via the official Nigeria Police recruitment portal.
PSC Chairman, Hashimu Argungu, congratulated the successful candidates and encouraged them to dedicate themselves to protecting lives and property.
Nigeria Police Training Date – Approved Training Venues
Successful candidates are to report to any of the designated Police Colleges and Training Schools nationwide, including but not limited to:

Police Training Schools (Ikeja, Ilorin, Calabar, Iperu, Makurdi, Benin City, Ibadan, Oyin Akoko, Nonwa Tai, Jos, Minna, Bauchi, Sokoto)

Specialised Police Schools (Anti-Terrorism, Communication, Traffic, Mobile, Music, Mounted/Dog Training, Detective College)

Police Colleges (Kaduna, Ikeja, Oji-River, Maiduguri, Kano, Jos, Abeokuta)
Training Requirements
All shortlisted candidates must arrive at their training venue with the following:

Two pairs of white round-neck T-shirts and shorts

Two pairs of white sportswear, sneakers, and socks

Two sets of white bedsheets and pillowcases

Toiletries, face mask, and hand sanitiser

A food flask, flat plates, and a cutlery set

A bucket and personal hygiene items
-
A hoe, a cutlass, and a broom
-
A hardback notebook
-
Original National Identification card/slip

Original copies of all credentials

Four passport photographs (white background)
Nigeria Police Training Date – Additional Information

The training exercise will run for six (6) months in three stages: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced.

Candidates are required to report with their invitation slip printout from the recruitment portal.

The recruitment exercise covers all 36 states and the FCT, with 10,000 constables expected to begin training.
